Words from Whitney, on a rebrand
I was so pumped when I got the opportunity to rebrand our ChangeMakers.
I’ve always loved our icon (the swirling C and M that make up our logo), but things have been changing around here and we needed a new look to reflect that. We’ve got a new group dynamic, a fresh environment and a re-energized passion for what we do best. But how was best to convey that to the public? How would I put on paper (or stationery, or a sign) that feeling of what ChangeMakers has become?
I started with uplifting, fun colours and a font that’s not quite sure if it wants to be funky or serious … and then I ran with it.
The new, attention-grabbing font is a combination of serif and sans serif fonts, representing the best of both worlds: imagination and strategy, creativity and production, fun and business.
Fun, fresh colours give new life to our familiar logo and symbolize how we feel about our company. The bright, lively green is organic, sustainable and refreshing, and it embodies our get-up-and-go attitude and capacity for growth and change. Blue-sky thinking is one of our strong suits, but our heads don’t get stuck in the clouds—we always match our creativity and originality with dependability and productivity. Like us, the golden yellow and orange hues are filled with optimism, energy and inspiration and symbolize forward-thinking and positivity.
We really do have a blast around here, and the fresh new look is a true reflection of who we are – a strong, creative and brilliant group who produce strong, creative and brilliant work for you.
