Lakeshore School Division in Manitoba’s Interlake region is roughly the size of Prince Edward Island and serves over 1,200 students in 10 schools. Based on a recommendation from the Manitoba Association of School Superintendents, Lakeshore School Division hired ChangeMakers to produce a video to promote their unique approach to teaching and learning, called Re-imagining Education.
ChangeMakers visited three communities as part of the video shoot, where we met and interviewed numerous supporters including a school trustee, a principal, teachers and several students. The result is an informative and inspiring eight-minute video that the division has shared with audiences in Canada and the United States. It is an effective tool to educate viewers on the success their school communities experience thanks to this leading-edge approach to learning.
