2016 Summit Creative Award – Educational Institution Video
River East Transcona School Division (RETSD) has 42 schools serving the northeast quadrant of Winnipeg and two adjacent rural communities. The division’s geographic size and population, combined with its comprehensive program offerings (e.g., three language streams), creates both opportunities and challenges from a marketing communications perspective. Starting with research into stakeholder perceptions and communications requirements, ChangeMakers developed a comprehensive communications plan to help the division achieve its communications goals.
Since 2013, ChangeMakers has supported RETSD with a range of services including: redeveloping the division’s extensive brand standards to build consistency across its many worksites; filming and producing a live-action video introducing families to the division’s kindergarten program; and coordinating the well-received anti-bullying assemblies for the division’s middle years schools. We continue to provide media relations support to the senior administration and create design templates and marketing materials to meet the needs of the division and its schools.
